Nintendo Switch demo for Breath of the Wild prequel has been launched on Switch eShop

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, the prequel of Breath of the Wild arrives on Nintendo Switch in less than even a month. However, the Switch owners have a chance to play the sample of the game even before the release. In the recent Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, Nintendo announced a free Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity demo which is currently is available for download from the Switch eShop.


The demo will allow you to play through the complete first chapter of the game. This will give you an idea of what you should expect from the game.


Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is an upcoming hack-and-slash game which is launching for Nintendo Switch. The game is developed by Omega Force. It is the sequel to Hyrule Warriors and the Lend of Zelda series.

Also, when the complete game launches officially, you will be able to complete your game from where you left it.

About the game: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is set during the Great Calamity which occurred 100 years before the launch title of Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The players will be allowed to control a lot of other characters in Age of Calamity. The playable characters consist of Princess Zelda, young Impa, and the four Champions of Hyrule: Revali, Daruk, Urbosa, and Mipha. You will find some family characters appearing in the game. 

The players who have saved their data for Breath of the Wild on their systems will be receiving a bonus. They will get the bonus once they start the game. The bonus is the Training Sword. 

Nintendo also announced that they will be re-releasing the four Breath of the Wild Champions Amiibo along with the game the next month.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be launching for the Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020.
