Well, it seems that Nvidia is preparing for its launch of the next generation of GeForce graphics cards. Nvidia’s flagship GeForce RTX 3080 Ti card has been drawing a lot of focus since it has been one of the top-performing consumer cards in the coming future. But it seems that new details have been leaked regarding the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. What can be the next priced option of the next line of Nvidia.
According to the latest leaks, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU was “taped out”. This means that only the designed has been finalized till now. This implies that like the 2060 before it, 3060 is not going to be launched after the new generation of cards. Instead, it will be released after some months of flagship cards such as the 3080 Ti. This allows the more expensive and powerful card to increase its sales before the more affordable card comes to the market. Well, this is really a great strategy.
The leaked information also says that the 3060 series might feature more than one SKU. Such as, it will feature both: a standard Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and a 3060 Ti or a 3060 SUPER. Just like the 2060 series. The only difference between the two is the power and pricing.
The –60 series generally targets the players whose budget for GPUs range between $250 and $400.
Well, the latest leak doesn’t confirm about the pricing of the upcoming GPU. Well, because of the pandemic of COVID-19 we might see a rise in the price of the card.
There has been no official announcement about the launch of any of the new cards of Nvidia. The RTX 3080 will be launched as soon as September. Therefore, if the 3060 is coming then we might see it in the late 2020 or early 2021.
However, there are chances that Nvidia might delay the launch dates because of the problems faced by them due to the pandemic.
The PC gamers are very much keen to see the coming Nvidia graphics cards just as the next generation of consoles is for the console gamers.
Well, stay tuned for further information related to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 in the coming weeks and months.
