The Silent Hills demo, P.T., will be available for the PlayStation 5 owners soon. The game will be coming to the next-gen console thanks to backward compatibility. Therefore, the demo will be transferrable to PS4. Previously, Sony confirmed that the new system will be supporting the majority of PlayStation titles.
P.T. is a playable teaser for a Silent Hills game. This was previously cancelled by Konami in 2015. And, this is why the demo was removed from the PlayStation Store. Therefore, the demo is no more available for download even for those who have already played the game using their account. P.T. is considered to be a horror classic and is in high demand. However, Hideo Kojima confirmed that he will not be working on Silent Hill games in the future.
This week, Sony revealed that it will be possible for the users to transfer their saved data from the PS4 to PS5 via Wi-Fi transfer. Therefore, the P.T. from PS4 can be copied and played. Also, the game was not there in the list of 10 games that won’t work on the next-gen console. Therefore, we can expect the P.T. will be playable on the PS5 as we still have a copy saved on our current-gen consoles.
Well, this was not an official statement on P.T. being able to run on PS5. So, all we can do is expect to be able to play the game on PS5. So, if P.T. can be transferred to the next-gen console then it will be a great relief for many fans of the game. As the game is no longer available to download, the console that already has the teaser downloaded are in high demand. Also, being able to know that the games can be copied from the previous system to a new system, this will be adding another backup. It will also be helping the players to preserve the game in the future.
P.T. is playable on the PS4.
