Football Manager is a series of football management simulation video game. The series has started to establish its root since 1992, as Championship Manager. The genre of the series is Sports game.
Sports Interactive, the developer of Football Manager confirmed that they will be releasing Football Manager 2021, later this year. He said that despite all the problems faced by them, they will be doing this soon.
Sports Interactive is a British developer company and the game was published by Sega. The first release of the game took place back in the year 2004. The first title in the series was Football Manager 2005. And the latest release of any title in the series is the Football Manager 2020 which happened in 2019.

They have constantly worked on their games throughout this period of the pandemic. They were not at the office but still were able to achieve their goal. The director of the Sports Interactive also said that working discretely was nothing new for them. He said that in the past also the teams used to work remotely for decades. But transferring the whole team into work from home was a huge challenge for them.
They focused on their team to work efficiently and effectively in order to deliver the greatest games to us. He further added that they have now adapted to this situation and are comfortable working in this way.
It was also said that they will be coming with a new game later this year. However, the delivery of the game might be a bit later than usual. But, it will be having strong features. He also appreciated his team for working so hard on this game even after the problems that they were facing. He also said that they have done some improvements and new features have been added which are expected to be loved by the players. And therefore, they will be delivering the game later this year, despite the global pandemic.
Football 2020 was playable on the Nintendo Switch, PC, Google Stadia and Mobile devices. It is expected that Football 2021 will be supporting the same platforms too.
