The Game Awards will be going live on December from LA, London and Tokyo

This year, The Game Awards is coming back with a different format. This event which is streamed live from three distinct places of the world. The places are L.A., London and Tokyo. The event will be hosted in empty studios and will be airing on 45 distinct platforms.

Geoff Keighley tried to become a human E3 this summer. He told Variety that he was always ready to do Game Awards this year. The event of this year is going to be a large-scale show.

He seemed to get inspired by Death Stranding and Hideo Kojima. The Game Awards will be coming with a bag full of trailers and announcements. Also, this time it will be able to connect people from all around the world. So, there have to be some great trailers in the show.

Also, Keighley discussed that he is interested in highlighting the challenges that are being faced by the industry. The pandemic of coronavirus has craved a deep mark on the gaming industry. He further revealed the negative and abusive behaviour of some of the members of the industry.

The previous year, The Game Awards was able to entertain 7.5 million concurrent viewers. Therefore, this is a good platform to highlight the issues with the cultures and topics apart from the games.

The show will be held on December 10, 2020. So, we have got a lot of time to guess about the future announcements that will be made. We still have time to gather information on further announcements. Just like every time, The Game Awards will be about reveals, world premieres, music performances and awards. This year, some additional awards have been added like innovation in accessibility, recognizing the work which has invited now people to enter the gaming world via new features and technology.
