Dead by Daylight is a survival horror game. Behaviour Interactive developed the game. The game was released on 14th June 2016. There is excellent news for the Dead by Daylight fans. Behaviour Interactive, the developer, has come up with an excellent new for the asynchronous multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight. They did so by confirming that the game will be supporting cross-play for the PC and consoles.
Also, Cross-play is now available on the Steam, Microsoft Store, Xbox One, Switch, and PS4, but not on mobile devices. This means that the players from all around the world can now match regardless of the platforms they are playing on. Well, if you wish they you can opt off for cross-play. This might then increase the time to find a match.
Also, Dead by Daylight updated that we can now team up with our friends regardless of the consoles they are playing on. As we know, there is no in-game chat system for the consoles, so you have the old fashioned way only to communicate.
Dead by Daylight brings the very first cross-play project for Behaviour Interactive.
The previous month, Behaviour revealed in a blog post that the players will now be able to access their purchases, progression, and inventory across Stadia, Steam, and Switch from September. Unfortunately, they were not able to make it happen for the PS4 and Xbox One. Also, they further didn’t guarantee whether they will be able to do it or not.
Dead by Daylight is playable on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Android, PC, and Xbox One. It will also support cross-play for the PC and the other console. However, cross-play isn’t available for mobile devices.
