The reason for which the 23-year-old was killed to death by five men is very shocking. They killed more men over a game of rummy. Police said that they received a PCR call at around 6 pm. The police got the information that a man was lying dead inside a park in Lajpat Nagar II. The body was stained with blood. The man was injured on his head. When the man was rushed to hospital he was declared dead there
RP Meena, DCP, southeast said, “Akif was last seen with a group of men from the neighbourhood. Based on local inquiry, five men — Rakesh (24), Rahul Bhaat (22), Shyam (24), Mukesh Bhaat (24) and Mahesh (22)—were arrested.”
As reported by the police, following are the five men who have been arrested:
- Rakesh: age: 24 years
- Rahul Bhaat: 22 years of age
- Shyam: Age-24
- Mukesh Bhaat: Age- 24
- Mahesh: Age-22
All the above listed five men have been arrested based on local inquiry. They have been arrested for allegedly killing a 23-year-old man over a game of rummy.
The five men revealed that while playing Rummy, Akif asked them to pay him Rs 100 each for liquor following which an argument was generated between the men.
DCP RP Meena said, “This led to an argument between the men, during which Akif slapped Rakesh. They all followed him and again had an argument near the park where Akif tried to attack them with a spade. Others then overpowered Akif, while Rahul and Rakesh attacked him with the spade, leaving him to spot dead.”
