FIR dismissed by advocate Rajawat:
The FIR was dismissed by Rajawat as she said that it was a fractured piece which will not survive in the court. Further, she added that it was registered by way of sheer abuse of law and under pressure from BJP and other saffron organisations.

Police said that following complaints from different people, the FIR has been registered. According to sources, Rajawat has been booked under Sections 295A and 505(b)(2) of IPC( Indian Penal Code). These sections deal with creating enmity and hatred between different classes of people. Also, the section is concerned with malicious reports that intend to cause alarm or induce personal attack injuring religious sentiments.

Rajawat on Tuesday tweeted a cartoon making a point about Women’s safety featuring Goddess Durga. This tweet sparked outrage. The police revealed that the offences in the FIR are labelled as non-bailable and that they are waiting for a report by Cyber cell. Before initiating action against the lawyer, police are waiting for the reports about the origin of the tweet.
Rajawat said that through her tweet she wanted to send a message for women’s safety. However, in the FIR she has been charged with the offences she did not commit.
