Bajaj Auto sales drop by third and Exports also went down

Bajaj has a big name in the automotive industry. But nowadays Bajaj auto s’ has seen a drastic change in the sales of their automobile.


About the sales of Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto’s total sales is a decline of 31% at 278,097 units in June Bajaj auto stated today.


Last year’s total sales of autos in June were 404,624 units which is much greater as compared to the present sales.

The Domestic sales of Bajaj Auto drop by 34% at 151,189 units last month.
The first quarter of Bajaj ended on 30 June 2020, the automotive manufacturer saw its total sales slump by 64% to 443,103 units as compared with 12,47,174 units in April-June period of 2019-20.

The Automotive company has reported that there is a decline of 27 % in the total two-wheeler sales at 255,122 units as compared to 351,291 units in the previous year.


In June, the Bajaj domestic two-wheeler sales make a mark of 146,695 units. It was very low as compared to the previous year which was 26% on the 199,340 units

The Total exports of the company in June is also dropped by 28% for 126,908 units as compared to 175,399 units in June 2019, stated by Bajaj Auto.

The company also states that the total sales of commercial vehicles also fell by 57% at 22,975 units last month which is not enough in the context of 53,333 units in the year-ago period with domestic sales declining by 85% to 4,494 units against 29,885 units in June 2019.

The Bajaj Auto has restarted the manufacturing of the vehicles in Aurangabad and Pantnagar in April.

On this Thursday at 11:47 am, Bajaj Auto shares that they were trading at Rs2,858, 0.60% up, on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), and at Rs2,858.95, 0.58% higher, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
