Cristiano Ronaldo Has Tested Positive For COVID-19

Thirty-five year old Portuguese football player, Cristiano Ronaldo who is also Juventus, has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. This news was given by Portugal Soccer Federation which posted a statement on its official website on Tuesday, thirteen October that the player has no symptoms.

Now Ronaldo has been kept in isolation and has been sent home. This means that the football superstar will not be playing the match against Sweden which was held on Wednesday, fourteen October. But the good news is that the other players of the Portugal team are not impacted, and were tested negative for the same virus. Their test was conducted on Tuesday as well.

Cristiano Ronaldo plays as the forward for the team, and got married three years ago in 2017. And since the player did not show much symptoms he is doing much better now. The father of four children, Ronaldo will not appear for the match on Saturday either.

When he tweeted a picture of him with his team, sharing a meal together the other players were sitting very closely so this led to the series of tests. Born on fifth April, the Portugal Juventus player is also the captain of the Portugal national team.

In 2016, 2017 and in 2018, and again in 2019 that is for four continuous years he was ranked as the most famous athlete.
