Delhi: A semi decomposed body of a building contractor has been found inside a bed box in a rented flat at Sant Nagar in North Delhi. The body with multiple stab wounds was found on Saturday evening.
The victim’s family said that the man was killed for money. They Said that 2.5 lakh cash was missing from the flat. The contractor shared the room with his childhood friend for the past three months. Delhi Police said that now that friend is missing.

The deceased is identified as Sameer Malik. He belonged to Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Sameer worked as a building contractor and supplied labourers at the construction site nearby. A case of murder under section 302 IPC has been registered at Burari Police station. The probe is being conducted on the lines of enmity and stolen cash.
Sameer lived in a rented flat on the first floor of the building along with his childhood friend as well his business partner. His first name is identified as Salman. He moved to Malik’s place three months ago. The landlord said to the Delhi police that flat was locked from outside and both Salman and Malik were not seen since Friday. Also, their phones were switched off. On Saturday, after seeing Malik’s cooter lying in a drain, the landlord went to his flat to check if he has returned or not.
The officer said, “The landlord became suspicious when he found that the flat was still locked and a foul smell was coming from inside. Soon, he informed Malik’s brother, Zarif, about his suspicion
