Dubai is all set to uncover the world’s largest fountain on October 22 to make a Guinness World Record.

The fountain will be located at the Pointe, which is a lifestyle and dining destination. It is spread over 14,000 sqft of seawater and its super shooter will be 105 meters tall and will have over 3,000 LED lights.

Inspiration for the customers

Omar Khoory, managing director, Nakheel Malls, said, “We are looking forward to the inspiration this fountain will bring to the customers at The Pointe, residents of Palm Jumeirah, our retailers, tourists, and the wider community.”

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said that the Palm fountain is another marvelous addition to the list of World famous landmarks in Dubai. He is sure that the fountain will draw huge attention from the residents and tourists.

Attractions to the fountain

The Palm fountain will have 20 bespoke shows with five different shows operating daily between the time period of sunset and midnight, i.e, 7 pm to 12 am. The show will have popular songs on its list including Khaleeji, pop, classic, international and more. Each show will last for three minutes and everyone will be performed every thirty minutes.

Xin Su, the chairman, Beijing Water Design Technology, said that they are proud to be a part of the design, building infrastructure, and operations of the Palm Fountain, which is itself so extraordinary. As one of China’s largest fountain experts, the project was unique for them as they had many firsts in imagination,

The fountain will be an incredible addition to Dubai’s long list of attraction s, said Shaddy Gaad, senior marketing manager–MENA, Guinness World Records (GWR).

According to the Shaddy Gaad, The GWR is still in the process of verifying the world’s largest fountain and they are looking forward hopefully that this world-class landmark gets officially declared amazing.
