Facebook Shop: COVID-19 pandemic has affected everyone’s life. Now people are adopting new habits over traditional trends. Thus, many online service provider companies are busy increasing their game in the digital shopping space. The latest entry in this game is made by ’s Facebook.
Facebook has recently launched the ‘Shop’ section in its mobile app, however, this brand new feature is currently available to Facebook users in the United States.
This new feature is based on the idea that an estimated 85 percent of the people all around the world are now shopping online and the company can earn a huge profit out of it.
Facebook said in a statement on Tuesday: “We want to make shopping easier for people and empower anyone, from an entrepreneur to the largest brand, to use our apps to connect with customers and grow their business.”

The new shop section launched by Facebook is known as – Facebook Shop.
Facebook Shop aims to make it easier for its users to find products from businesses or brands they love.
It will also help the users to discover new brands and businesses with an easy purchase.
However, Facebook Shop is currently available to Facebook users in the United States as the company has launched it now just for testing purposes.
Earlier in the month of May, the company also launched Facebook Shops, a feature that helps businessmen to showcase their products to the customers through Facebook and Instagram platforms. Now, the company is waiving selling fees for businesses in order to bring down the cost of doing online business. It will be done by the end of this year.
Last month Instagram launched the ‘Shop’ section in its app. The shop section on Instagram enables users to shop from brands and creators.
