Gurugram: Man arrested for firing in the air in Metropolitan Mall. On Sunday, a 24-year-old man was arrested for opening fire at a mall on Mehrauli Gurugram Road. The accused is identified as Musaddiq Ansari. Musaadiq Ansari is a resident of Bijwasan in South Delhi. He runs a food supplement shop. Police have seized a country-made pistol, five cartridges and one spent cartridge from him. He fired in the parking lot of the metropolitan mall.

Musaddiq Ansari was a regular visitor to the mall club. For the past 2 to 3 years, he has been visiting the club in the mall. On Saturday night on Saturday, Musaddiq visited the mall. Around 3 am he was in an inebriated state and returned to the parking lot. He allegedly fired a shot in the air. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire shot.

DLF Phase II police station SHO Inspector Aman said, “A passerby informed a police patrol vehicle stationed at the MG Road Metro station. The police rushed to the spot and arrested him. He added, “During questioning, he confessed to firing in the air just to show off.”

Man arrested and interrogation is being carried out:

As Police said a passerby informed the police patrol vehicle at MG Road metro station following which the police rushed to the spot. The man was arrested and questioned. When interrogated, the man revealed that he did the firing in the air just to show off. Now a case has been registered by the cops. The case has been registered under IPC Arms act. Police are probing from where Musaddiq Ansari got the weapon.
