Hathras gang-rape: The 19-year old girl who was gang-raped nearly two weeks ago, died on Tuesday which has now triggered massive outrage among common people. The heinous crime was committed in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the people responsible for this cruelty will not be spared. The incident has left the common public in despair. The 19-year old dalit girl died in Safdargunj Hospital in Delhi Tuesday morning. She died of the incident that happened tow weeks earlier, when she was sexually assaulted by four men of her village.
Yogi Adityanath also added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked to him about the incident and has asked him to punish the accused with strictest law possible. The incident has triggered mass protests all over the country after drawing parallels with the Nirbhaya Incident that occurred in 2012, which shook the whole country from its core.
Three member special team is appointed to make sure that justice prevails as soon as possible
A three member special team has been appointed to probe the case in the fastest way possible. The team will submit its report in seven days. The case will be taken up by the fast-track court so that the justice is delivered in the fastest way possible. The controversy aroused when the family members of the victim claiming that the Uttar Pradesh Police cremated the body of the victim forcibly in the early hours of the day. However the Uttar Pradesh Police Division which are taking the care of the case denied all the charges.
The opposition parties are now taking up on the Uttar Pradesh Government about the law and justice that are happening in the state. They are lashing out at the UP Police for their treatment with the family and inability to carry out the investigation in the right manner.
