IMD (India Meteorological Department) predicts that there will be more rainfall for Delhi this week.


India Meteorological Department: Last week the weather in the capital was hot and humid. But from this week New Delhi is getting rainy days. The rainfall level will be low to moderate in this week. There are chances of thunderstorms on Sunday.


On Friday there was a heavy rainfall recorded in West Delhi and North Delhi areas like Barahpullah, Nizamuddin face a water blockage in the areas and huge traffic of hours or also has been in the West Delhi.


IMD (India Meteorological Department) scientist also stated that this week will be the relief week for the Capital. They also said that the wind speed in Delhi may be lie between 30-40 kmph. This will also help in the fall of Mercury level in Delhi.

About the weather of Upcoming Week

Some parts of Delhi will also receive heavy rainfall. There will be low and moderate showers in the city. Light showers in central Delhi are expected on Monday. IMD scientists said that on 1 and 2 September 2020 Delhi will receive a good spray of rainfall.

Despite receiving slight rainfall on Friday, the temperature changed into 24.8 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, Delhi records the temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. IMD scientists also state the reason behind this high humid climate in Delhi. It is because of the bright sun and the absence of clouds. However, the night was cooler because of the winds that were coming from the East.

IMD (India Meteorological Department) scientists said the forecast of the Sunday will be there are Cool winds with a speed of 20-30 mph and the temperature will 33 degrees Celsius maximum and 25 degrees Celsius will be the minimum for the day.

In the last week, IMD scientists stated that this month will be the second year with endless rainfall in the past 12 years.
