PM Narendra Modi might ask MS Dhoni: On 15 August 2020, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from International Cricket. Hence, this will result in the ending of his glorious 16 years cricket career.


While Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar states that Dhoni can play T20 World Cup 2021. If Prime Minister Narendra Modi requests him to play and keeping his retirement decision side for this world cup. This time theĀ  T20 world cup 2021 will be held in India.


He said in an interview that Dhoni should have to play this T20 World Cup. Because Dhoni has a huge fanbase and very big support of his fans. And his performance in T20 matches is also very good.

Shoaib also stated that “He was a boy from Ranchi who has made billions of Indians proud. By bringing the World Cup in India in 2011. The whole world will always remember him and he will never be forgotten.”

Dhoni has played his first ODI match against Bangladesh on 23 December 2004. He has changed the Indian cricket by leadership, sense of the game, and his calm minded decisions

He is the only captain who has brought all the 3 ICC Trophies :

  • ICC World cup against Sri Lanka in 2011
  • T20 World Cup against Pakistan 2007
  • Champions Trophy against Australia in 2013

He also stated that this is not the right age for retirement he is only 39 years old. He ought to play this upcoming T20 World Cup.

Shoaib also stated Pakistan’s current prime minister Imran Khan was asked by General Zia-ul-Haq to play cricket for the country in 1987. In the context of this, he also said that you cannot deny to the Prime minister of the Country. And I thought that Modi Ji will request Dhoni to play this upcoming T20 world cup 2021 for India and bring the World Cup for the Nation.
