Instagram has released its own short video feature after the ban of tik tok in India full stop this new feature is called Reels and it allows users to add creative filters and music to the innovative videos that they create and also share it beyond the people who already follow them. Reels is sort of similar in operations to the Chinese app recently banned by the government in the terms that it allows users to make videos of 15 seconds depicting new trends or challenges with the use of popular songs.
Vishal Shah, VP of product of Facebook, say is that this product is borne from the realisation that almost 45% of videos on Instagram right now are of a duration which is 15 seconds or less.

With the use of this new feature users can now shoot videos, and add music in filters from Instagram selected catalogue and share it with masses.
