Earlier this month BCCI was forced to invite companies for the title sponsorship because Vivo pulled itself out of it amid the increasing tension on the India China border following a deadly clash between the soldiers of both the countries.
The Vivo-IPL deal was worth Rs. 440 crores while the Dream11-IPL deal reached around only Rs. 222 crores. After DLF, Pepsi, and VIVO, Dream11 became the fourth brand to associate with IPL.
