Not Paid salary since May, say staff of 12 Delhi University colleges.

Delhi University colleges: There is a new announcement made by the Delhi government regarding the salaries of the teachers, other staff members, and workers of Delhi University (DU) Colleges. According to this announcement all the teachers and other members of the college will not be paid for another 3 months or maybe more than it. Delhi government states that it has already raised its fund with 23% of increment. This fund will be used by 12 colleges. The government also said that they have done their work it is college management’s inability to distributing the money to its all employees.

Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Shishodia state that in the past 5 years there is a growth of 70% in the budgets of Delhi University colleges. This mishandling of funds is a clear symbol of corruption.

What does Delhi University say?

Delhi University colleges have also given a reply to this statement University states that in 6 years the expenses on the income of the employees has been increased by 80-100%. Also, there is about 300-500% of increment is the record of the non-salary expenses. Now the Delhi government is preparing for the financial audit for the 7 DU Colleges.

Dr. Sujit Kumar is a teacher in Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College states that this situation is too worse for teachers we are not getting our salaries from 4 months. He also said that this situation too hard for them. They are working as other people are working. we are not able to afford our daily expenses. Life is getting harder for us. Please take necessary action on it.

Dr. Subodh Kumar teacher at Maharaja Agrasen College (DU) said that all the employees of Delhi University said that they have not expected this situation in their life. They are facing the tag of corrupt people from the government. In this time should help by raising new funds.
