Owner of Baba ka Dhaba filed a complaint against the YouTuber who put him in the limelight. A video was shot by Gaurav Wasan of an elderly couple on 7 th October. The couple talked about the lack of customers at their Dhaba in Malviya Nagar. After the video was shared on social media, many people started donating money to the elderly couple.

On Sunday Kanta Prasad, 80, said that he received a cheque of Rs 2 lakh from Wasan. He said, “I don’t get a lot of customers now; most people come here to take selfies… Earlier I was earning over Rs 10,000 per day, now it’s Rs 3,000-Rs 5,000.”

So on Saturday, a complaint was filed by Kanta Prasad and another group of men at Malviya Nagar police station. The man claimed that Youtuber Wasan shared his and his family’s bank details to collect a huge amount of donation.“

Atul Kumar Thakur is DCP of South. He said that the complaint was received the day before and the team is inquiring about the same. Till now, no FIR has been registered.

Youtuber denied the allegations. He said that he transferred all money into Kanta Prasad’s account. Wasan shared the receipts of transactions. The three transactions were made on a single day on 27 October. There were two cheques of Rs 1,00000 and Rs 2,33,000. Another was a receipt of bank payment of Rs 45,000. Wasan said that he did not argue that the video will become so popular. And to protect Prasad from harassment, he shared his bank details. He further added that this was the amount of money that was collected.
