“Pakistan to get 5.6 million COVID-19 vaccines by March”

According to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), Around 5.6 million Covid vaccine doses will arrive in Pakistan by the end of March 2021. The Country will receive 17.1 million vaccine doses by the end of June.

On 2nd February, Pakistan began vaccinating its frontline health workers. The GOVT of Pakistan has given At least one of the two anti-COVID-19 shots to 72,882 health workers. Has sent Around 500,000 doses to federal units.

VACCINATION

In the first week of March, 2.8 million doses of vaccine will be delivered by Gavi/Covax alliance. And by the second week, the next consignment of 2.8 million doses will be delivered.

From February 22nd General health professionals in the country can register for the doses. According to the NCOC, the registration of people around 60-65 years has also been started.
