In the video, Kanta Prasad was seen narrating the challenges his family had been facing since the lockdown. After the social media influencer posted it on social media, Kanta Prasad and his wife’s plight came to the light. People were requested to go to their food stall and help the elderly couple.

After the video became viral, many people poured help for the couple. Deepshikha Sharma, CEO of Sharp Sight Eye Hospital said that they saw the video and were moved by the spirit of the couple to fight hunger and earn livelihood during the challenging times.  She added that many of us are confined in our homes because of the fear of covid 19. However, the couple who has a bigger worry has no choice but to open their eatery every single day.

Kanta Prasad said, “We spent so many years with hazy, unclear vision. But now we can see everything crystal clear. It’s like getting a new eye. Our economic condition is such that we could have never afforded cataract removal.”
