On Friday one of the family members of the victim of Hathras Gang rape incident said that the family is been stopped to talk to media and appearing in from of the journalists. The UP Government has imposed Section 144 of the Code Of Criminal Procedure (CrPc) in the Bhul Gargi village located in the Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh that prohibits the gathering of more than four people at then same place.
Seriousness of incident has raised the questions on UP Police and law and justice in UP
The Hathras incident has outraged all the people all over the country over the brutality of the incident claiming the UP Police is trying to hide the proper situation of the incident. A 19-year old was Gang raped on September 14 in her own village by four men of the sae village. The victim died this Tuesday in Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. The victim’s family has alleged that the Up Police cremated the body of the girl victim without even informing the family members in the early hours of Wednesday.
Family has to send a minor to contact media to dodge UP Police as they claimed they are not allowed to speak to media
The family of victim sent a minor of the family to reach out to the media as they claimed that there phone has been taken away by the police. The minor told the media that he dodged the police and came via fields as the police is not letting the media to enter the village nor they are allowing family members to speak to media. On the spot a verbal spat broke out between the media representatives and the police officers over the clam.
The opposition parties are alleging that the UP Police is trying to hide the truth as well as grounding the justice for the victim.
