Tony-Nominated Actor And Film, TV Star Anthony Chisholm Dies at 77

Anthony Chisholm was an American Actor. Aged 77, he has nominated for Tony. His career started with Wilson in 1990. At that time he auditioned for Two Trains Running which is Wilson’s play. In Vietnam war Story which premiered in 1987 let him experience Vietnam in the HBO series.

Anthony Chisholm Dies at 77

Anthony Chisholm dies at the age of 77. The talent manager firm of The Katz company confirmed the news of Anthony Chisholm on Friday.

Chisholm played his first theatre role at Yale Repertory Theatre in Connecticut. And after that, they went to Country and eventually on Broadway in 1992.

Chisholm didn’t play only in Wilson’s play to get a feature. Anthony played roles in Gem of the Ocean in 2004, Radio Gulf in 2007, and Jitney in 2001. And for Radio gulf, he has nominated for Tomy awards for best actor in a play. Chisholm has also shown appearance in Broadway revival- Jitney. It even won a Tony award for best revival in a play.

Apart from his stage experience, Anthony Chisholm was also a veteran of the screen, appearing in several TV shows and films, including Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq” and “Law & Order: SVU.”

Chisholm worked really hard throughout his career and won multiple awards. And won an NAACP theatre award and an Ovation Award too. He also got nominated for Drama League Awards and Drama Desk Awards and a few more.

In Anthony Chisholm’s family, there is Alexander his son, Daughter Che, Peter Vietro Hannum Son in law, and grandchildren Avani and Ravi Vitro.

Anthony is affectionately known as Chiz. An actor and a great storyteller. No one could ever replace him in devotion determination, and compassion towards his work.

Born on April 9, 1943, in Cleveland, Chisholm served in the U.S. Army.
