Amsterdam: On Monday, an elevated train ran to the end of its tracks in Rotterdam. However, the train did not plunge 10 metres to ground from a pier. The team came to rest on top of a statue of the whale’s tail.

In Rotterdam on Monday, a metro crashed through stop block. The team ended on a statue that is coincidentally entitled “Saved by a Whale’s Tale”. The statue was not intended to save a train.

The conductor was shocked. No passengers were there on the board. Also, the conductor was unharmed. Maarten Strujis is the artist and architect, Marteen said, 

“Of course it does look rather poetic. But, luckily, the tail can bear the weight of the train.”

Passengers in the street below could see the tram car that was suspended. While many people on social media said that it should be left as a permanent addition to the artwork. However, looking at the safety issues, Rotterdam Metro and the local officials denied the calls on social media.

Official denies for same:

The tram ran off the track and landed on a statue. The conductor was shocked. Further, there were no passengers in the tram and the conductor was also not injured. Statue has been coincidentally titled ” Saved by a Whale’s Tale.” Nevertheless, the statue was not intended to save a train.

The architect of the statue said that it looks rather poetic and said that it is lucky that the tail can bear the weight of a train.

Engineers are studying as to how a tramcar along with other derailed behind it can be safely removed.
