Mathura: Two individuals offered Namaz at Nand Baba temple following which an FIR has been lodged. Uttar Pradesh Police has filed an FIR( First Information Report) against four individuals. Out of these four, two people were allegedly offering Namaz at a temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. While the other two individuals were clicking their photos.

According to the information received so far, Faizal Khan and Chand Mohammad offered namaz at Nand Nana Mandir in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Their two aids identified as Alok Ratan and Nilesh Gupta clicked their pictures. These pictures are now making rounds on social media.

Incident took place at Nand Baba Mandir:

On 29 October the incident took place at 12:30 pm at Nand Baba temple. On Sunday night, a complaint was filed by Mukesh Goswami, Shivhari Goswami and Kanha following which an FIR was registered.

According to the FIR, the four members against whom the FIR is filed belong to a Khudai Khidmatgar organisation. It is a Delhi based organisation of which the four individuals are a part of. The FIR stated that without taking permission from the temple authorities or without informing them, Khan and Mohammed offered Namaz at a temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.


The FIR stated, “Their act has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community…We have a concern that these photographs do not get misused or if there is any foreign funding behind this incident. This should also be probed if this act intended to stir communal tensions.”

The accused have been charged under Section 153 A, 295 and 505 of IPC( Indian Penal Code).

Furthermore, the additional force has been deployed at the area by Uttar Pradesh police to prevent any untoward activity
