New Delhi: Neeraj and his brother Shiv are arrested by Delhi Police for running a drug cartel under the garb of selling momos. The two Nepalese nationals had set up popular momos joints in the capital as a front to sell bammed contrabands like charas and hashish. They are now arrested by the crime branch.
Neeraj and Shiv have been accused of selling the finest quality of drugs and that’s the reason the duo charged a premium. They had their clients in Delhi, Gurugram and Noida.

One of them, Shiv came to Delhi two years back. Je used to work in hotels and dhabas in Gurgaon. Later he moved to Saket where he met another Nepalese national. He was part of a drug racket wherein they brought their contraband from Nepal via the Sunauli border. Then they supplied their products to students and professionals who came to the restaurant for a meal.
Soon the duo was able to build a huge client base in Delhi, Gurugram and Noida. Later they shifted to a trans -Yamuna area where they set up a Chinese food outlet.
Rakesh Pawariya is Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime). He said “The two drug peddlers were arrested with five kilograms of contraband substance worth several lakhs in the international market. They used to procure contraband from Nepal Sunauli border in UP-Nepal border and supply it in Delhi and NCR.”
