New Delhi: The Army Commanders’ Conference is a top-level biannual event. Through collegiate deliberations in the Indian Army, important policy decisions are being formulated. The Army Commanders’ Conference is being held in New Delhi from 26 October to 29 October 2020. Further, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be addressing the Army Commanders’.

Various senior officers of the army including the VCOAS, PSOs( Principal Staff Officers) of the Army HQ, All Army commanders and other senior officers attend the event.
On the first day, the conference was addressed by the CDS and all the three Service chiefs that are COAS, CNS and CAS. And on that day, deliberations were held on issues related to Human Resource Management.
On the third day, there will be an in-depth discussion of various projects by Army Commanders. This surely includes an update by CINCAN. Following which there will be brief updates on various issues bg various principal staff officers and said by Indian Army in a release.
On the last day of the conference, DGBR( Director General of Border Roads) will update on various infrastructure development projects that are being undertaken by BRO( Border Roads Organisation) and allied formations. In addition, discussion on Automation initiatives to optimise utilization of manpower at various levels of the Army will also be held.
With the presentation of the Sports trophy and Flight safety trophy and a closing address by COAS, the conference will be closed.
