United States President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump on October 2 tested positive for Covid-19. The results came just after one of Trump’s top advisor also tested positive for Covid-19.


Trump’s top adviser Hope Hicks tested positive for Covid-19 and also travelled with Trump to first Presidential debate


The top adviser to Trump, Hope Hicks was tested positive for Covid-19  was experiencing symptoms for few days. Hicks  regularly travelled with Trump on Air Force One and also accompanied him to the First Presidential debate this Tuesday in Cleveland.

Trump has ignored the concerns since the starting of the global pandemic even after many White House staff were infected

US President Donald Trump even after many White House staff were infected and fell sick continued to ignore concerns about being personally infected  to COVID-19 virus.

Donald Trump has come under criticism for his response to the global Coid-19 pandemic, which led to more than two lakh deaths in the United States.

United States President Donald Trump  had also refused to wear a safety mask in the West Wing of the White House saying that he felt no vulnerability whatsoever.

Also during the First Presidential debate Trump and his Democratic nominee Joe Biden clashed on September 29 over  handling of the pandemic by the Trump Administration and refusal to wear a face mask.

However, Trump said that he supports wearing a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19 global pandemic but claimed that experts have offered him different  advice on the matter. He said  “I have a mask right here”, after pulling a mask out of his pocket and continued  “I put a mask on when I think I need it.”. In fact he criticized Joe Biden for wearing masks saying that whenever he sees him Joe Biden always got a mask.
