Vande Bharat Train to run  from Delhi to Katra town in Jammu and Kashmir

Delhi to Katra town

The BJP government is planning to run Vande Bharat train for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims. The train will run from Delhi to Katra town in Jammu and Kashmir.

Katra is a town near Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. And the Vande Bharat train will shuttle between Katra and Delhi. Soon it will be resumed. However, the plan will be implemented after things settle in Punjab. In Punjab, farmers have blocked the rail tracks over controversial farm laws that are recently passed in the parliament.

Vande Bharat Train to shuttle between Katra town and Delhi:

This year, Navratri will begin from 17 October and the nine day-long festivals, the government will plan to run Vande Bharat express train. Train service was suspended in March. During the covid 19 pandemic, the pilgrimage was suspended.

Here is what Dr Jitendra Singh(union minister) told,“To begin with, Vande Bharata Express trains will be run but we are waiting for Punjab protests to settle down.” On Thursday Dr Jitender Singh said that soon the Vande Bharat express train will resume. He tweeted that, “Discussed with Railway Minister Sh @PiyushGoyal. #VandeBharatExpress train from Delhi to #KatraVaishnoDevi to resume soon. This should be a reassuring piece of information for pilgrims from across the country planning a visit to Holy shrine during #Navratri festival.”

Despite covid 19, Bhawan will be decorated with exotic flowers:

The officials of the shrine board informed that they have started making arrangements for the Navratri festival. Sanctum sanctorum as always will be decorated with flowers that will be brought from Britain, South Africa, Switzerland and Dubai. The flowers namely Gladiolus, lilies, carnations and anthurium orchids will remain fresh for almost ten days.
