Vasundhra Bhojane: Truly, this year’s NEET has been a controversial one. Some students claimed that their final scores did not match with what they calculated from their OMR(optical marking response) sheets. While some students like Amravati girl is shocked to see 0/720 as her NEET score. The girl moved the Nagpur bench of Bombay high court and seeks revaluation.
There is another aspirant who has filed a petition for scoring lower than what he calculated from his OMR sheet. The boy scored 212/720. Vasundhra Bhojane from Amravati expected over 600/720 marks. However, she got 0/720 as her NEET score. She said that she had an excellent academic record with 93.4% in 10th class and 81.9% in 12th. Further, she added that it is very likely that due to technical discrepancy she got 0/720. As a result, her counsel demanded directives of NTA(National Testing Agency) to produce the original copy of her OMR sheet before HC.

A student from Buldana who scored 212/720 alleged that he has scored lower than what he calculated. His father said, “When my son calculated his scores using the provisional answer key released by NTA, he got over 700. He was shocked to get his results last week.” The students plan to seek legal resources. He wrote a letter to NTA and claimed that he got more than 700 marks.
Vineet Joshi, NTA director-general said that they would file an affidavit if the court-ordered so. Further, he said, “Even now, students are allowed to check OMR sheets. No claim made so far was right.”
