DC vs SRH: Match number 11 of Dream11 IPL 2020 will witness the clash between table-toppers and the bottom-most team in the current standings. Delhi Capitals (DC) are the sole side aside from Rajasthan Royals (RR) who are unbeaten in the tournament so far. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) haven’t been able to put a performance, losing both their matches so far.
After winning in the Super Over against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), DC convincingly beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their second game in Dubai. While their batting line-up is yet to put on a show, their much-vaunted bowling department has lived up to the hype. The South African pace duo – Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada have been spot on with the new ball and in death overs, allowing hardly anything to the opposing batsmen. The spin department has also done quite well with left-arm spinner Axar Patel producing two economical spells of bowling. The injury to Ravichandran Ashwin has not disturbed their flow as DC have an experienced Amit Mishra to invest on. Mishra, who is that the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL history, played his first match of Dream11 IPL 2020 against CSK. While he wasn’t amongst the wicket-takers, the leggie conceded only 23 runs in his four overs. Marcus Stoinis also seems to be in red-hot form to live up to the all-rounder’s responsibilities.
SRH desperately need their opening pair of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow to showcase a magical performance. The aggressive opening duo looked unstoppable last season and their performances has not do been great far. There is an injury fear over Manish Pandey that could hurt the 2016 IPL champions if it’s a serious one. SRH’s bowling line-up could also go a notch higher. However, firstly Hyderabad’s batting line-up must click.
DC vs SRH Prediction –
DC has a balanced line-up and carry the momentum of winning back to back games. They remain the favourites to win this match. SRH faces the old problem of the overdependence on their opening pair and having an inexperienced middle-order batting line-up. DC trail in the head to head battle against SRH, but will presumably win the match.
