KXIP vs MI: The 13th IPL match was played between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai have trampled Punjab by 48 runs in the match.


Mumbai Indians have beaten Kings XI Punjab by a big gap of 48 runs in the 13th Match of the Indian Premier League 2020. Chasing a target of 192 runs from Mumbai, Kings XI could only score 148-8 in 20 overs.


Mumbai bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar and James Pattinson picked up 2 wickets each in a lethal bowling attack. Nicholas Pooran scored the highest 44 runs from Punjab. Earlier, Kings XI Punjab won the toss and decided to bowl first. In addition, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma scored 70 and Kieron Pollard scored an unbeaten 47.

Mumbai Indians’ lethal batsman Kieron Pollard was given the man of the match for his 20-ball 20-ball innings of an unbeaten 47 with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes.

Mumbai Indians have won their second win in the IPL, beating Kings XI Punjab by 48 runs. Kings XI Punjab suffered their second consecutive defeat in IPL 13.

Punjab’s in-form batsman Mayank Agarwal was batting in good rhythm, but in the 5th over of the innings, Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah clean bowled the batsman. Mayank secured 25 runs for the team.

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, playing responsibly, completed the 38th fifty of his IPL career against Kings XI in 40 balls.

Ishan Kishan’s wicket dropped:

Mumbai Indians batsman Ishan Kishan could not take much advantage of his vivification. The batsman was caught by Krishnappa Gautam who bowled the cricketer by making just 28 runs for the team.
