KXIP vs RCB: KL Rahul-led Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are set to face Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Dubai International Stadium tonight at 7.30 PM IST as the action continues in Dream11 IPL 2020.
While KXIP started their Dream11 IPL 2020 campaign with a heartbreaking defeat against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Super Over, RCB defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 10 runs to win their first game against the Steve Smith-led side.
There have been talks that the last match for KXIP was unfair as there was an umpiring error which cost them a run that wouldn’t have required the match to go to a Super Over. There has been tons of debates surrounding the square-leg umpire’s poor decision, but KXIP should move on and look to start winning their matches. Whereas RCB made a shocking comeback to win their match against SRH with the likes of Devdutt Padikkal and AB de Villiers, who shone with the bat while Shivam Dube and Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a superb spell to assist RCB win a tight match.
KXIP vs RCB: Head-to-head
Talking about the head-to-head stats, it sits equal. Both KXIP and RCB have won 12 matches against each other in the IPL. Although, in the Gulf nation, KXIP have won the only match they played against RCB in 2014. However, in the last five clashes against KXIP, RCB have won four out of the five matches.
Dew factor to play a major role
With the dew factor coming into play, choosing to field first has become sort of a tradition after winning the toss which is probably going to continue in the match between KXIP and RCB in Dubai. A score of 170-180 is predicted given the bigger boundaries at the venue. However, both the teams will have the firepower to achieve the 200-run mark.
