Jos Buttler, who is in quarantine together with his family won’t be available for RR’s first game while World Cup hero and all-rounder Ben Stokes is yet to join the squad in the UAE. However, there is still enough firepower for RR with Steve Smith set to be the captain of the side once again, along with Jofra Archer, David Miller and other Indian stars in the mix. On the other hand, CSK had won their first game of the season. They have several proven match-winners and a few young and exciting talents at their disposal, hence CSK will be the favorites to win the match against Steve Smith-led RR.

5. Lungi Ngidi

Although he went for 29 runs in his first two overs against the Mumbai Indians, Ngidi still managed to pick up three wickets for just nine runs in his last two overs, helping CSK make a comeback. He may be the go-to bowler that CSK will address at the top of the innings against RR.

4. Jaydev Unadkat

The Indian left-arm seamer has been in and out of the RR squad for a couple of years now. Unadkat, like many other Indian cricketers has not played any competitive form of cricket for a short time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But he will look to have a brilliant start in this year’s IPL after having one of his most successful Ranji Trophy seasons, where he led Saurashtra to their first ever Ranji triumph, and picked up a total of 67 wickets throughout the tournament.

3. Sanju Samson

He is an absolute treat to watch with the bat as he can time the ball well, change gear when necessary and clear the fence with hardly any effort. Samson has two IPL hundreds and over 2200 runs under his belt. He will be key to Rajasthan Royals’ Dream11 IPL 2020 fortunes. He is also expected to be the first choice wicket-keeper in the absence of Jos Buttler.

2. Sam Curran

One wicket, a catch and a 18 runs off 6 balls cameo in his debut game for CSK, English pacer Sam Curran may play a key role for his side once again in their second game of Dream11 IPL 2020. Curran’s presence gives CSK a choice to have an extra batsman, without compromising on their bowling depth.

1. Faf du Plessis

Brilliant on the field with 3 catches and dependable batting performance with a score of 58 not out in the first match against MI, the 37-year-old looks young as ever. He will be crucial once again for CSK as they go after RR to seal their second consecutive victory in the Dream11 IPL 2020.
