So here is an amazing thing that you might have missed being an iPhone user. Apple has added a new button to your iPhone. Apple rolled out software updates with iOS 14. Besides software updates, Apple has added hardware features as well. A new button has been added to your iPhone that you might have not noticed yet.

If you are now looking for a physical button on your iPhone, you will not find it. It’s impossible to find it practically. However, with the new back tap feature, the entire back panel of the iPhone has become touch-sensitive.

The new hardware feature was rolled out without much fanfare. Now the back panel of iPhones can be woken up by taps. To use the new feature, you will have to find and turn on the Back tap feature. So let us see how you can do this.

Firstly, go to settings option and then go to the Accessibility option. After touching it and then scrolling it down, there will be a Back Tap option. If you will clock in that, the option will be turned on with which you will be taken to a separate screen. There will be two options: Double Tap and Triple Tap. After choosing any one of them, you will find a list of things you can do just by tapping twice on the rear panel of your phone.

You can simply lock your screen by just tapping twice on the back panel. Also, you can choose the screenshot option with which you can easily take screenshots after tanning twice or thrice at the back panel. Just remember that there is no specific area on which you have to tap. You can take anywhere on the entire back panel to lock your screen or take a screenshot or any other chosen feature. 

Well, this new feature of Back Tap can be used to make certain apps function. Nevertheless, if you wish to turn off the feature, you can easily do it the same way you turned it on.
