First Hotel In Dubai that entirely run by Emiratis, aims to Provide feel of Home


The Manor Hotel, first-ever hotel in the history of Dubai that is entirely run by Emiratis. When the Emirati family started working on their business of establishing the hotel, they decided to give it a touch of home. So, every Emirati who stays at the hotel feels like it his own home.


Mohammed Hanif, managing partner and founder of the hotel located in Al Furjan, said, “The contractor was from Emarati background company. The designer was also an Emirati and the operator, JA Group is also Emirati-owned in an industry that is usually dominated by international players.”



Emirati Home like experience

The family realized that the local partners have good knowledge of the market and they believe that showing the local Expertise is an essential part of any business. Hanif added that from the perspective of business, opportunities were given based on merit. No shortcuts were provided for Emiratis business but the founder was pleased to see that there a lot of talent to offer and compete in the International market.

Hanif and other members of the family wanted to provide guests a memorable stay. According to them, true Emiratis experience has not been showcased yet, as many hotels in Dubai are international. Although, they are focusing on providing Arabian hospitality and provide a home-like environment at the hotel. Their coffee shop is Emarati based serving local treats.

During the pandemic, the Manor Hotel welcomed many guests who returned from abroad but was not comfortable being home quarantined.

The hotel ensures to provide the home-like stay and which is the main aim of the hotel to satisfy guests with a home-like environment.

Eco-friendly touch in the hotel

Hanif informed understanding tourism industry, provide new creative ideas to expand the business by adding unique elements and providing a more eco-friendly environment for customers who are Environment conscious.

He said, “We started with the mandatory 23 percent reduction in energy and after that, we noted that the more we invest in sustainability, the better it is for business. We reached up to 40 Percent of energy savings and it is one of the wisest decisions. Starting from the cooling system to the type of window, the lightings everything. We have also used LED lighting, which is very efficient.”
